Recently, TPC Express Benchmark V (TPCx-V for short) released the latest world ranking results, and Inspur cloud computing platform ICP successfully topped the world’s first. TPC (Transaction Processing Performance Council) is the world’s most well-known data platform benchmarking standardization organization, composed of 26 world’s top data platform software and hardware vendors and scientific research institutions, and the test benchmarks and evaluation results released by it are highly authoritative and recognized in the world.

 

Among them, TPCx-V, the virtualization benchmark for database workloads, measures the performance of virtualized server platforms under demanding database workloads. By simulating complex and changeable business scenarios, TPCx-V comprehensively evaluates the performance capabilities of virtualization, such as computing performance, memory bandwidth, virtual disks, and network throughput, and provides an important reference for the industry to measure the comprehensive performance of cloud servers.

 

In this TPCx-V evaluation, Inspur Cloud Computing Platform ICP successfully stood out with its excellent performance of high-density cloud servers and fluctuating cloud server loads. The test results show that in the case of a total test time of more than 2 hours, 2.32 million simulated online users, and a total initial database capacity of more than 30 TiB, Inspur Cloud achieved a high score of 4640 tpsV (the unit of score) in the performance test of 12 transactions, an increase of 80 tpsV compared with the previous highest score of 4560 tpsV; The total number of completed transactions exceeded 340 million, and the average response time for trade-order transactions was reduced to 4 milliseconds, and the average response time for trade-lookup was reduced to 15 milliseconds. What’s more significant is that in terms of cost performance, the cost performance score of Inspur Cloud cloud servers has reached 12.08 USD/tpsV, and compared with the previous 35.04 USD/tpsV, the cost has been significantly reduced by 65%, successfully breaking the world record.
